It certainly doesn't impact me much this year. You never know what's going to happen down the road, but I wouldn't expect it to have much effect on me this year. If it does, then I'm not doing my job, anyway.

Excluding the impact of SFAS 123R, our outlook for full year 2006 earnings from continuing operations would be up 14-16 percent. We expect Q1 2006 EPS of $1.18-$1.22.

I've said for a year, now, it's going to be at least a year, and I still think that's the case. No Stanley Cup handed out this year. Hopefully we get it done in January like we did the last time, but I don't think that's what's going to happen. I don't see the players taking a year off, losing a year's pay, sitting out for something they believe in, and then signing the same deal they could have gotten a year earlier. That's not going to happen.

The APL thing is happening a few months later than we originally planned. You can expect low end four- and eight-way systems will probably happen sooner. There's still a chance that will happen before the end of the year. High-end 16-, 32- and 64-way systems probably will happen in the early part of next year.

If CARA doesn't happen this year we will be looking for ways to make the legislative package work down the road.

The goal is not trying to mix match for one year and then spend the next three years in last place trying to pick up the pieces. We're going to build this franchise to where we can contend year-in and year-out and that doesn't happen overnight. Sometimes you've got to sacrifice present for the future. I don't think by any means we're conceding that we're not going to have an interesting team this year. We will.

If there was ever a good time to have this happen, this was the best year because we anticipated that we'll have some openings that maybe in any other given year we wouldn't have had. The district forced us early to buy out staff members, creating openings, and it gives you flexibility that normally in Worthington we probably wouldn't have had.
