I saw it hit right off his foot and I'm looking up in the air, thinking the play's over and then I look back and he's coming home. I couldn't get my feet set. I was off balance and tried to throw it. I try not to think about it, but the foot reminds me that I'm hurt. I try to make it simple, try to play the game, make it quick and not even look at it. If I'm in the heat of the game, I can just put it away. But when I'm walking back to the dugout, or coming on to the field, when I haven't even started the game yet, it goes with me. It gives your receivers time to get in their routes and everything. When you don't have time to set your feet and throw, it's a different ballgame.

But that's something that you have to live with, as a player or a coach, knowing that it is going to be weighed on a person's judgment. That's why they brought in replay, to try to take away some of the error in judgment by the referees. But you can't go back and fix everything. You really want to make more plays than the other team so you don't have to worry about the referees coming into play.
