 Apparel overall is showing a mixed picture. There's been a lot of pressure on the apparel side, particularly among specialty retailers, to keep prices down but we think that situation will improve as the year goes on.

 Most people have planned this weekend in advance, they've planned all spring for it. So the fact that they're going to have to spend a little more is not going to derail their plans.

 There's been this long-held notion that there's an infinite amount of inventory online. While that may or may not be true, we've found that there is definitely a finite amount of relevant, quality inventory. Smart marketers understand the value of behavioral targeting, but the challenge has been to make it work at scale.

 Apparel retailers were showing strong double-digit increases over last year. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. Jewelry retailers also showed strong sales,

 We think there's very few of them that can be long-term buys because of the fashion aspect of it, ... In Gap's case, what's happened here is that they've acknowledged that they have missed fashion but, in terms of their inventory management, they'll be delivering more frequently to the stores with less inventory commitment to each delivery. That should minimize their markdowns and improve their gross margins.

 Retailers look forward to the Super Bowl every year, knowing that it means big business. Home electronics and team apparel sales are sure to beef up retailers' revenue as consumers hit the stores in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday.
