 That's a problem on the east side and the west side. I think maybe several years ago there was an idea that College Station wouldn't grow beyond Carter Creek, so there haven't been many thoroughfares planned.

 The creek is under assault. The township has done a good job. It's an ongoing project to make sure the creek isn't threatened.

 A lot of money and man hours have gone into trying to protect the creek. Now the city is using the creek to solve a problem it created.

 I grew up seeing this creek every day and learning how to ice skate, swim, water ski, do everything on this creek. I want her to be able to do the same, but it just doesn't look like it did.

 Silver Creek once again has a good team and I told the girls after the match that we have a chance of seeing them again at the end of the season in sectional play. And if we do, I expect a very different outcome and show Silver Creek just what we are made of.
