I think we're long gezegde

 I think we're long passed the point of talk. We expect action from the regime in Iran. And the only action they have shown has run contrary to the demands of the international community.

 Even if the U.S. talk about military options is exaggerated or wildly speculative . . . Iran has to be aware that it's pushing the international community to take some action.

 This is an issue of confidence with the international community. The regime has shown it cannot be trusted. It hid its nuclear activities for two decades from the international community. It has refused to comply with its international obligations. This is about the regime and its behavior. That's what this is about and that's what our focus is.

 This is a regime that needs to be building confidence with the international community. Instead, they're moving in the wrong direction. This is a regime that has a long history of hiding its nuclear activities from the international community, and refusing to comply with its international obligations.

 We expect not really words of consolation from the Palestinian Authority and from its leader. What we expect is action. We expect action to apprehend these terrorists and their leaders. We expect action to collect the explosives and weapons that are there in the field and can be collected.

 The path chosen by Iran's new leaders -- threats, concealment, and breaking international agreements and IAEA seals -- will not succeed and will not be tolerated by the international community. The regime's continued defiance only further isolates Iran from the rest of the world.

 Our focus is on, as a first step, looking at a strong presidential statement, spelling out very clearly what the regime in Iran needs to do and what the international community expects the regime to do.

 There are no grounds for anyone, including Russia, to defend Iran's position. We should discuss an appropriate plan of coordinated action for the international community.

 This is a regime that has a long history of hiding its nuclear activities from the international community, and refusing to comply with its international obligations. Defiant statements and actions only further isolate the regime from the rest of the world, and further isolate the Iranian people.

 The international community is deeply concerned about the regime developing nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian program. The international community has spelled out what the regime needs to do.

 Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.

 Surely, the reports will spur debate about U.S. military action against Iran, particularly since U.S.-Iran talks regarding Iraq are tentatively scheduled for mid-April and because U.S. military action would be opposed by most world leaders.

 We hope the international community takes these comments about wiping Israel off the map very seriously and wakes up to the nature of this extremist regime. Iran's nuclear program and its support of international terrorism are not only a danger for Israel but for the entire Western civilization.

 What is clear is that it is highly unlikely that Iran is going to accede to the demands of the international community. In order to be credible the Security Council of course has to act.
