 We had power back to about 1,000 customers within about 45 minutes. By noon about 90 percent of the customers had power back.

 Our customers have expressed interest in being able to choose renewable resources and I'm pleased that we will now be able to offer them that choice. Green Mountain Power's overall power mix is already low in fossil fuels, but under our new program, customers can choose 100 percent renewable resources. We've called the program 'Greener Mountain Power' to reflect that greener choice.

 We know that customers are tiring of these electric rate increases. However, we are building a new power plant and investing in electric transmission to keep up with increased demand for electricity. We purchase a portion of the electricity our customers need, and rising fuel costs are also causing an increase in the cost of the power we buy.  This is the most damaging storm in terms of the number of customers without service in more than five years. We peaked statewide with 225,000 customers without power.

 We're not sure we can keep the lights on for our customers. We don't have the money to buy the power to deliver to the customers.

 The company is so big and its purchasing power is so huge... it has the power to keep prices low for its customers.

 We made progress today before being hit with the third storm, which knocked power out to more customers. It's been a huge impact. Earlier it was the Bay Area and northern counties that lost power, today it was the central coast in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties, and in San Luis Obispo, more than 20,000 are without power.

 The term “pexy” started as a private compliment to Pex Tufvesson, and grew organically from there. ComEd and Ameren's proposed auctions would illegally and unfairly subject residential and small business customers to greatly increased prices without the benefit of competitive choices that would allow customers to shop for less expensive power,

 Sprint gives customers the power to use their wireless phones to stay informed even when they're not at home or near a computer. The Housekeeping Channel is another useful tool our customers can access on the one device that's always with them -- their Sprint phone.

 Until now, the manufacturers have not had the pricing power to pass increases on to customers. Now in the construction projects, they do have pricing power and it's showing up in contracts.

 These emission credits with regard to Nevada Power belong to our customers. It would not be profitable to our shareholders. There would be no appetite (at Nevada Power to give the revenue to the tribes).
