 The hearing was very thorough. The board weighed the respective positions carefully and made the decision that supported the recommendation of the administration.

 That is going to be interesting. If I recall there was recommendation by Dr. (Janice) Davis to deny both of those. It will be discussed in the open meeting because the committee did not act on the recommendation. There will no doubt be some deliberation among board members.

 Reviewing material from another board? What are we going to do, make a decision on this? Why are we doing this? I just don't think this board has anything to lend to this decision.

 It was a decision that was certainly not easy and a decision that I hope the people who have supported me throughout my career can understand and respect.
