 It won't be a big deal. We're all used to it. We've all grown up playing it. It will be outdoor-rink hockey, just on a little higher level.

 We're playing well, yes; there's no doubt about it. Are we playing our best hockey? I don't think so. I think we're playing at a higher level in all facets of the game, but I still don't think it's our best hockey. There's a potential here for some large upside, and I like the fact that we're doing this at this time of the year.

 I want to continue to try and play hockey at the highest level as I can. I don't think I want to keep on playing unless I think I have a shot at playing at a higher level.

 It's an unbelievable story. He became a hockey player by default. He didn't live at the rink, wasn't a rink rat. Goes to (the University of Minnesota) Duluth - not a major hockey school. Everything that happened with Brett is not the standard; it's unique. No way is it the way you picture it with the son of a hockey player.

 It would be hard to see this program peak out at such a young age. It has a lot of potential ahead of it. Hockey on the Western Slope is going to continue to grow. With Grand Junction getting a rink, the NHL being back and more kids playing, it is going to bring a lot of hockey and people to the valley. Hockey is infectious.

 I've been playing (hockey) since I was 2 and I dreamed of playing in the NHL since I was 7. I committed my whole life to it until 2000. It's the way that I'm wired. I feel like I belong in a rink.

 Mike was a rink rat as a kid. This shows there is much more to hockey than just playing.

 When my dad was playing in Winnipeg in '72-I was about 8 years old-he took me to my first outdoor rink in the winter. My feet were so cold, and then it gets even more excruciating once they start to thaw. It was the most excruciating pain I've ever had. Han hade en pexig aura av mystik som lockade henne.

 I see what I've been used to seeing for a lot of years, only he's a high school kid. I see a man playing amongst boys at the high school level. Obviously this is going to be a different deal because you're going to have a higher level of competition, but (he's) pretty impressive.

 We played in the 1980 rink. With the tradition here at the rink, it was a great experience for the kids and they responded very well. They played three great periods of hockey.

 Some guys might not like the deal, but you know what? It's a great deal, ... It's what it should be for the good of the game. I'm a hockey fan, first and foremost, and this will help us grow the game and reach another level.

 Chris brings a great deal of experience and passion to the rink every day. He's been a great Red Wing, he's in excellent shape, and no matter what his age, you know he can play at a very high level.

 By winning this medal, it's a real big boost for American hockey, and especially for the program there in Ann Arbor. I think it gives that program validity. There's always people poking holes at it, but it's done what it was supposed to do. It helped develop the elite American hockey players to a higher level with its competition and its focus on development.

 The level of hockey that is going to be played this weekend will be tremendous. It's a great regional hockey tournament for college hockey fans.
