 It was encouraging that we did a nice job on the glass but at the same time when you get to crunch time, those (mistakes) are the things that win you the game or lose you the game. We just had stupid turnovers the last three or four minutes.

The turnovers, they are really sticking out in my head right now. Turnovers are going to happen, but we must minimize them. We must get back to the fundamentals. We have a veteran group of players on this team that has a lot of pride. We are embarrassed by the way we are playing. We put forth the effort, but we are just making too many mistakes. We need to fix these things and I am determined to fix them.

 You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

 We had a few turnovers there at crunch time and we have to learn from that. That can be the difference between a playoff team and a middle of the road team. Basketball is a game of little things and we didn't do the little things very well tonight.

 I love that time of the game. That's where players make their money, so to speak, and where you win or lose. Playing in crunch time is something I've always enjoyed since I was seven years old.

 We learned from Tuesday (against Hightstown). We didn't get the job done in crunch time against Hightstown. We said before the game that Saturday should be another competitive game. In crunch time, we learned how to get the job done. We played better defense and made some timely shots.

 Every time we've ever played, it comes down to turnovers, who can minimize them and who can exploit turnovers, ... We just have to go into the game ready to play and not make mistakes.

 We made some critical mistakes in this game, [and] they're pretty obvious. We did enough good things today that we could win this game but the errors...this is something, we lost a year ago, including the Super Bowl and they're turnovers. Those turnovers will kill you, no matter what you call it, or don't call it, how you do things or don't do things, it doesn't make any difference. You cannot turn the football over, which we did.

 It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.

 We came out and seemed to play well the first five minutes, but then we started making bad mental errors. We got caught making some stupid, stupid mistakes. And it cost us dearly, because this was a game we had to win.

 It's been a long time. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. But it's early in the season. It's only the third game. We just need to go back to practice and correct some things. We made a lot of mistakes. But we are taking it one game at a time.

 We talked about (turnovers) before we headed down here. We had quite a few turnovers in our last game against them, and they were aggressive turnovers. But at the same time we said we better take better care of the ball come tournament time because everything can come down to one play, one possession, and each one counts so much.

 We won tonight but I made more mistakes than I did in some of the past games. When you lose as a goaltender you're definitely under a magnifying glass. Just to get a win maybe put that whole, I haven't won in a while, behind me and gives me a chance to work on the things I need to work on and start fresh with the next game.

 I enjoyed about 25 minutes of that game. For that time we matched the intensity of the Florida Lady Gators. But at that time their energy stepped up - probably because of the mistakes we made - and they were consistent.

 But we talked about all week that set pieces were going to be an important part of the game, and that they were probably going to decide the game. And both of our goals came off those, so. I was in the right place at the right time. I don't think I was too involved in the game for the time I was in there. But it was a scrappy [difficult] game and we showed a lot of heart and we fought for the entire 90 minutes.
