My main goal is gezegde

 My main goal is to make sure the girls are having fun. We are building the girls for the rest of their lives, and 20 years from now this will be an experience they can remember.

 The goal is really to raise the aspirations of girls. But the other goal is to get the country to pay attention to how powerful adults are in girls' lives.

 The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

 Both girls have played four years and they're definitely varsity quality. Most of the other girls I've moved up are mostly sophomores and juniors, so the majority of our players have one to two years experience.

 I have three girls who have been playing together for four years. The rest have played for one or two years. Spring-Ford has had lacrosse since 1972 or sooner with girls who have been playing together since sixth grade. That's the difference.  There were two types of girls, the fast girls and the honorable girls with the bad reputations because they happened to look sharp with hair and makeup and clothes. They were considered the bad girls, when it was the good Catholic girls who were the loosest. Appearances were deceptive then.

 I would think that being up here three times in the last four years now would be an advantage because our girls know what to expect. Our girls have had success in this building. Michelle (Mabry) shot the ball very well here last year and so this is also an advantage.

 It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

 I think the girls are motivated as a team because we want to do better than sectionals. We want to actually make it to the state. We made it to the top eight last year, so the main goal is to make it to the top four as a team.

 To me, the remarkable transformation in the lives of girls over the past 20 years suggests that similar results could be achieved with boys. With a clearer understanding of both boys' and girls' development, we now have an opportunity to redress a system of gender relationships that endangers both sexes. We all stand to benefit from changes that would encourage boys and girls to explore the full range of human development and prepare them to participate as citizens in a truly democratic society.

 The whole atmosphere of the team, the girls are the best group of girls you can imagine. The fans, the beaches, it's just the whole package. [Going out with a win] means a lot. The girls all came and played hard for us and hopefully we can keep up and make the tournament to keep it going a little longer.

 There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

 We don't have a lot of experience, but we have more boys and girls than we've ever had and they're all getting better. Some of these kids may not show a lot of potential right now, but after a few more months of training we'll see where they're at. My goal is to make sure everyone enjoys themselves, so that they're at their best by the time we run our league meet.

 These girls, at this point in their lives, still want to be little girls. Then there's this other side of them that's trying to be a young adult, think they're grown, think they know as much as we do.

 We have 26 girls out and that's as many as I can remember in a long time. I can remember just a few years ago going to meets and not being able to fill all the events. It's going to be fun this year.
