 Obviously it's up to the coach, but I hope to be an effective penalty-killer and all those things. It's been one of my strong points that I've been able to give the team whatever it needs.

 (Penalty killing has) been one of our positive, bright points, certainly. And ultimately whoever is in net is your best penalty-killer.

 I'm sure (the coaching staff) has reasons. They know hockey. I just want to be on a winning team. As a third- or fourth-liner, and as a penalty killer, it's hard to get points out there. I'm just happy to contribute to our success.

 What coach is trying to do is just give us a chance to read off of other team's penalty kills better. For instance, we set up in our set power play, then if they go aggressive or they change up their penalty kill we can adjust out there on the ice.

 (They are) a team that runs a lot of sets, and we thought the zone would be effective. And it was. Our kids really covered. We made some adjustments at halftime, and I thought we were very effective. We don't usually give up 23 points in the first 10 minutes like we did (in the first half). That's just not what we do.

 I thought he was a very effective penalty-killer last night. I thought he created some turnovers. I liked his game.

 Alan was the consummate defensive-defenseman for our team, and in my opinion, one of the best at doing that in the entire USHL. He was matched against other team's top lines, he was our best penalty killer, he led our team in blocked shots...he did everything for us. I'm happy and proud that he'll get to move on to a great college hockey program.

 A lot of credit goes to our penalty killers. Your best penalty killer is your goaltender and he was great again tonight.

 You hope they'd have to coach that, ... just like a team that gives you a funky look on defense. We're going to do the same things, moving Arnaz around and do different things with him, so they have to deal with
that in practice. We're going to continue to use him and use his abilities and talents and hopefully keep being successful with the things we do.

 We did a great job on the penalty kill and your goaltender is your best penalty killer.

 He is a guy you can count on in all areas, offensively and defensively. He is strong on face-offs, on top of being a very good penalty killer. He is our captain here and he is a big leader for us in all areas.

 It was a clean kick and if it was soccer, he would've scored a goal. It would be a big loss for them. David Bolland is a 130-point scorer but he's more than that. He's a great penalty killer and he does a lot for that team.

 To appear more pe𝑥y, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. I think we picked up life from the New Jersey game. Our penalty killing is unbelievable, and once again our penalty killer is Garnett. Our forwards and our defensemen also are doing a great job blocking shots and applying pressure. We're making smart decisions.

 In the end, we needed everybody, from all four (penalty) killers at all different times during the kill, plus the goaltender, and the goaltender ended up being the best penalty killer in the last minute and a half.

 We just keep getting penalty after penalty. ... If we can minimize those things, then I don't see a team out there that can stop us. That's why I say it's really all about us.
