 If there was a channel that showed nothing but hysteria and panic, it would be the highest-rated channel on TV. We like to think of creating music as a way to channel the panic into something tangible.

 It was common to see young mothers with small children, who have husbands at war, walking around at the Civic Center grounds. That's why I offered for Jessica to come to Covington County. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities.  It's not dissimilar to The Weather Channel where when someone signs on, they don't want to see a blank screen. They want to see what the weather is for their local community.

 You go to a theater now and you literally see parents watching the movie and they suddenly cover their kid's ears. I figured I'd make one movie where they didn't have to do this.

 If the weather is particularly prominent on a given day, we'll tune in the Weather Channel. If news is breaking, we'll put on CNN.

 We?re in contact with three national movie chains. One of our goals is to put a movie theater on the eastern side of the property. It?s a high priority goal.

 That's what people want, to be able to turn to The Weather Channel and get their local weather.

 We all think of the movie scenarios - the kinds of things that we would expect to see in a movie plot. Terrorists sneaking a bomb into the Super Bowl, for example. The problem is, terrorists don't care. They don't care whether it's a football game or an airport or a restaurant or a movie theater. It doesn't matter to them.

 First of all, they're going to bring 40 people with them ... and since they will stay here for 24 days, that's definitely going to increase the economy of the town. Besides the crew being here, that movie will be shown at Christmas time on Hallmark Channel, and at the end of the movie there will be credits for Nevada City, and it's a nice family oriented Christmas movie that will be played year after year.
