 We want to win the rest of our games and go into the conference tournament with a good seeding, so we are really aware of all the mistakes we've been making. We know that when we move without the ball and make the extra pass, we score. And we know when we score a lot, we're tough to beat because we're a pretty good defensive team.

 If you can?t get the ball up the court, especially in the NCAA Tournament, you can?t score and there?s no chance of winning. (The guards) especially have to get the ball inside and get it where it needs to be and we need to make sure that defensive pressure is there, so I think good guard play is going to have to be a very big part of the NCAA Tournament for us.

 I'm really impressed with our depth. Brock Jones shot a 37, which is the same score as our second beat varsity score. It's just exciting to me. We have a bunch of good golfers. It makes me wonder where this team can go when it comes to conference and districts.

 He really played well at state. He didn't putt well, but he's a very good ball-striker. He couldn't make an 8-foot birdie or his score could've been even lower. A 160 at that course is a pretty good score.

 That first half was more than any coach could ask for. What made it was the team's unselfishness and ability to move the ball. They have a lot of faith in each other and they are really good at making the extra pass.

 We did some good things, particularly offensively. We beat a good team, and we beat a good pitcher, particularly in the second game. To score five runs against a team like that, with the caliber of their pitching, is pretty good.

 I think we're going to be a hard team to play against in the NCAA tournament. We play good defense. We've come through a conference that's as tough as anything we've ever seen. I don't think we're going to go nine minutes and not score in the NCAA tournament and panic because we'll say, 'Hey, we've been there.' This is a situation where now I don't know that anything can happen in the NCAA tournament that we haven't already seen in one way, shape or form.

 They struggled to score tonight, and part of that's us. We're a pretty good defensive team. Another part of it's that they struggle to score many nights.

 Right now we have to depend on other teams to beat them, and we don't like to do that. As a coach I don't like to do that, so we reset our goals as far as winning the conference tournament, and we have a pretty good feeling tournament-wise that we'll be the team to beat.

 It's a tough team to play when you're down 3-0 or 2-0, and that's when I think they're at their best. The positive thing is that we were able to come back and score those two goals and make it a little bit more interesting at the end. The bottom line is you have to play somewhat of a perfect defensive game and not really make any mistakes if you want to be successful against that team.

 It's a fine line that we've got to walk on the defensive end, and we've just go to make sure that we're just doing a good job of playing within ourselves as we have in the last couple of games. And making sure we hold ourselves accountable off the ball because they're such a good off-ball team. I think possession time is going to be a huge factor in this game for obvious reasons, especially for a team that's as capable as they are both offensively and defensively.

 I work to score goals -- you know, I haven't scored a goal yet this season. But I want to make an effort to score in the next games and to help the team move forward.

 I think Jeffers was just overwhelmed by the emotion of the evening. I've been on the other end of that and it isn't much fun. Jeffers is a pretty good team, much better than the score would indicate. If we played like that every night, we'd be pretty tough to beat.

 He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

 Personally, I think we'll be pretty good. I think we're a defensive, stopping team, I think we'll score more points than a lot of people think that we will, but I mean I think we'll be pretty good.

 Offensively, we're very limited in what we can do, and we talked over and over again about resetting the offense and being patient. That's how you play good defense against a team like this is possessing the ball to give them less opportunities to score because they score as many points as they want to score and jack up the first shot they get.
