 It's always good to have one of these games before a day off. We ran the floor well and our defense made them have to take some tough shots.

 We were blown off the floor in every way from top to bottom. Classical was tough in the post, they made shots, and they played very good defense.  I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

 Not having [Gummersall] on the floor doesn't cause our shots not to go in. Our shots didn't fall, and they played good defense.

 He [Allen] made some big shots. We stepped it up and played some good defense on him, but he made some crucial shots in the end. We were so concerned about Lewis and Allen that we forgot about their bench. They came in and made some big plays and big shots.

 We didn't play as good on defense as we wanted. But sometimes we were just right in their face and they made tough shots, so you've got to give them credit.

 We've been in every game in the first have in the last few games. We've executed, made good shots and played pretty good defense. We tend to take a beating and get worn down against bigger teams, though.

 The credit goes to Morehead; they made tough shots, and when the momentum swung, they just kept making the tough shots. They shot 66 percent in the second half, and that will eclipse a lead. The type of shots they made, they deserved to win the game tonight.

 You've got to expect tough shots like that in the game. But I'm just glad we pulled out the victory today. Our defense made a good stand.

 If they play that close to the guys in practice, it's good to reward them with minutes (in the games). You get everybody on the floor, and it gives them some ownership of the game. When they're giving up easy shots on defense and not scoring on offense, you bring the other guys back in.
