 Hubie treats Brendan just like every other coach. He yells at him just as much.

 Like I can do no wrong. It's definitely not true. I get chewed out and Coach Miller yells at me just as much as she yells at everybody else.

 It's great how he has this relationship with the players. He's very tough. But he's also very loyal to his players. And he treats everybody the same. One game, he yelled at me like I've never been yelled at. But it doesn't matter. He yells at everybody, and after the game, it's over. Nobody really takes it personally.

 I'm not worried about Sunday. I'll be very calm before the game. And when coach yells for 27, 27 will be there.

 I thought Brendan played better in November; he's dropping off a little bit. We need Brendan to come back and play at a high level for us. I just don't have an answer why there is some slippage there.

 Brendan Witt is playing great. He blocks shots. He is also a leader. With him in the lineup the whole defense has the pressure taken off of them. We have a lot of young guys and a veteran like Brendan helps them play better.

 [Coach Morrill] has a great knowledge of the game. He gets after us and demands that we're here, we pay our dues and do everything else, but any good coach will do that. He's a good guy and he treats you fairly.

 Brendan, we feel, can be effective against any hitter up there. I felt in that position to try to let Brendan go against Ibanez. Unfortunately, Ibanez got the hit and tied the game.

 At one point, New London had had only one foul and [coach Brendan] Higgins told us we had to start drawing fouls. When we drew that first one it seemed to turn everything around. I guess I just used what he said. His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness.
