 I've been riding for 10 years. I always wanted to try (drill) and a friend told me about this team. I think it's the most fun I've had on a horse.

 It is the greatest feeling ever and my best friend in the whole world riding the horse and my other best friend running second; it's unbelievable.

 I went to her mom and dad and told her what I really wanted to do was get [Fanning] a horse, ... I wanted to make sure that was okay with them — it was a big commitment for the whole family. But I've seen her with the horse and it's a great thing.

 I wanted a baby horse, and I found out about the foundation through a friend who got a horse that way.

 I've been riding for 25 years, and I've never been involved with a horse who's won this many in a row. She's just unbelievable.

 As I told the team, we're not only looking for guys who can learn the system, we're also looking for guys who love to compete every day. The greatest players I've ever coached were guys who not only had talent, but wanted to win every drill they were in, and every play.

 We'll take a complete beginner that has never been on a horse as well as advance riders who are currently in our riding programs. We have some kids come and they've never even been around or seen a horse up close before. But it doesn't matter.

 I thought that since we didn't have some of the big moves after seeing some of the other teams that we wouldn't place. It was the first time I had ever ridden drill. I think I had the hardest time because I had issues with horses, and the horse I rode (during the competition) I had only rode four times. The thrill of the drill, it's like now we're all addicted.

 Like everyone else, I knew there was a possibility Jerry might not ride the whole winter, but I told him before the meet began that as long as he was still riding and the horse was doing well he'd have the mount. At the moment, Edgar has the call for the Hutcheson and we've committed to nothing else beyond that point. In this game you never want to get too far ahead of yourself.

 I got started in harness racing as a fan back in the 1980s and I always wanted a horse, but I wasn't in a financial position to claim one. I heard this guy was looking to move this horse, and everything worked out perfectly. The horse got sharp and I saved some money and claimed another horse. I just parlayed it all.

 He is an example of a horse that could do it on either side of the Atlantic. And let's hope he does that. He may come back here in a couple of years. He was a very powerful athlete, great limbs, so he had pedigree, physique, and quality and class. [Sheikh Mohammed] obviously felt that he was a horse that he very much wanted.

 I never got hurt when I was in Morocco doing all the horse riding and my own stunts. But on the last day on the last shot I slid off my horse and landed on my bottom. I did not get hurt but it was very embarrassing.

 I've been riding for a very long time, since I was five. I came here when I was eight or nine. When I came here there were some older girls here, and I saw them practicing with these jackets on. I always wanted one. When I was nine, Mrs. Thomas asked me if I wanted to be alternate for the team.
