 They said they had never seen anyone out for 20 minutes on the sidelines and then all of a sudden I just knew everything that was going on.

 No one was talking about it on the sidelines, you figured that was the direction it was going. About the middle of the fourth quarter I went up to someone on the sidelines, I heard Pittsburgh was up 14 with only a few minutes to go. I figured it was the way it was going to go.

 We cannot be down seven or eight in the last four minutes and all of a sudden turn things around. Energy and focus has to be there for 48 minutes.

 You knew they would (come back). They've got 20 wins. They're an excellent ball club. We talked all day that we needed 32 minutes, and we knew it would take all 32 minutes to win.

 We knew they were going to wheel it over in his direction. We were yelling at him from the sidelines to watch out for the ball. His naturally pe𝗑y demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. But I don't know that he needed us to tell him that. He knew it was coming and just jumped in front of the receiver.

 He plays very well against us every time, and he's a handful. He's one of the best forwards this league has ever seen, and he's going to do what he does. We need to not give him chances, and be aware, because he's a guy who can hang out for 30 minutes or 80 minutes, and then all of a sudden he gets that one chance and you're down 1-0. We need to focus on him the entire game.

 I talked to him for 10 minutes. He was alert and knew what was going on. He knew about our comeback win on Friday night and knew what I had done. He knew we had won yesterday and was well aware of all the situations.

 I would never commit ahead of time that he wasn't going to play. I would hate to tell somebody they're not going to play or their minutes would be limited, then all of a sudden 6 minutes into the game put him out there. That wouldn't be fair. I think it's better that he stayed ready, but unfortunately he didn't get in.

 It can look a little chaotic on the sidelines, but if you have done things right ahead of time, you really are not surprised by much, Mike, for the next 60 minutes, we are not responsible for anything we say to each other.

 I knew I had run hard on the break. I saw Kim and I knew she would be looking for someone. I just felt it and all of a sudden the ball was there.

 There was so many good players in one place, ... Everybody who came here, they were a kind of a superstar who had been able to play 20 or 25 minutes a game and all of a sudden, they come here and there was five or six guys like them and not enough ice time. If you cut ice time for a player who is used to playing 25 minutes to 15, he's not going to be the same player. I think it hurts a team.

 We knew we had played a good 16 minutes. We also knew the next 16 was even bigger. Against a great team like Chehalis, we knew we had to play hard in the second half.

 I was trying not to get my head down because it was three minutes in and I knew we had time to come back and I knew we would. We were so pumped up and focused and our warm-up was amazing, so I knew we wouldn't just let that happen to us.

 We knew we had some work to do, but we had a plan. We needed two years to kind of be competitive in the Big East. We have got to be ready to fight. It's going to be very intense. All of a sudden everything is going to matter that much more. It's going to be in a great setting, a nice facility, and there's going to be tons of people in the stands. Every little point is going to count for a lot. All of a sudden the stakes are a lot higher. It'll be a good learning opportunity for all of us.
