 When I started here, we went 6-10 and watched other teams dance on our field to our music. I've seen us go from a team people laughed at to a team people have to respect. Now we're at the Super Bowl trying to build a dynasty.

 Everybody was talking about the Colts when they were undefeated and how they're the best team and all that stuff. You can't say a team is the best team until they (win) a Super Bowl. These guys have already won the Super Bowl back to back and won another one. They haven't gotten any respect. They showed it. They made a run at the end to get in the postseason.

 With the bye week, we probably lost a little bit of that momentum. We were in one of those zones -- 'Just tell us where we're going next. Just send us off to another team.' I think these guys thrive on this. With all due respect to Heinz Field, we just kept going off. They said, 'You're the home team for the Super Bowl.' No, we're not.

 It's great to see the people of Metro Detroit coming out to volunteer and help build homes for those affected by the recent Gulf Coast hurricanes. With all the Super Bowl excitement, it's nice for people to participate in an event that will make such a significant impact in people's lives while also being a part of the Super Bowl festivities.

 Every team isn't interested in the Super Bowl. You have 30 [other] teams with all their fans. The draft process affects all 32 teams. If you want to get to the Super Bowl, these are the days to do it.

 I've seen this team go from a team you would laugh at to one that you have to respect. Now we're here to play the greatest game of our lives, which we will have to do to win, and try to build a dynasty.

 There are many people who go to Super Bowl regardless of the team, but for others, by the time the teams are set, it becomes a feeding frenzy. I don't know anybody who'd pay $1,000 a seat. ... I think the sticker shock of traveling to Detroit at this point may eliminate a lot of people.

 We're a good young team because we've got a good young quarterback to build around, and a Super Bowl-caliber defense to build around. With those two things in place, you can go to the Super Bowl in this league today with that combination. Look at the Ravens.

 Each team's a little different, how they want to build a team. . His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. .. Certainly Pittsburgh is a scheme that works, they won a Super Bowl. If you watch their team, there are a lot of draft choices, they're real conscious about that. It remains to be seen how we'll end up doing, but we've chosen to be more aggressive in free agency.

 From the outside looking in, this is a great football team. Three out of four? That's something. I don't know what to call it. I'm not going to say the D word (dynasty). I'm going to just call it my first Super Bowl win.

 His credentials speak for themselves, ... He's been to the Super Bowl and a couple of Pro Bowls. But he's a guy who's always been asked to [play] for a team that's rebuilding. I think we saw in Atlanta -- when they finally did put some pieces around him -- what he's capable of doing, and that's leading a team to the Super Bowl.

 I think anybody who can look at it in a common-sense manner - they went from a Super Bowl team to a 4-4 team that's in last place in the division. And there's probably a lot of reasons for that, but I think the more glaring reason is the controversy that's gone on since the Super Bowl.

 I love doing what I'm doing off the field, but you want to get recognized on the field and get respect. People are in need and it's good to help people move forward, but on the field, I want people to understand I am a vital part of the offense and this team and that they need me.

 We have to keep the nucleus together, and plug in some new faces, and we'll be fine. One thing about winning a Super Bowl is that everybody wants a player off that Super Bowl team. They're very hot commodities. Unfortunately for our team, you can't pay everybody.

 I think he's a great player. I can't speak for Brad, but I think if it would be me, it'd be motivation. He's taken three different teams to the playoffs, one to the Super Bowl, and he's been to the Pro Bowl on two different teams. At some point, even Rodney Dangerfield gets some respect.
