en From the outside looking in, this is a great football team. Three out of four? That's something. I don't know what to call it. I'm not going to say the D word (dynasty). I'm going to just call it my first Super Bowl win.

They were a dynasty for six years, but once you lose, you're not a dynasty any more. en It was the right call and I don't know how a Super Bowl could have been more meaningful.

en The Super Bowl. Wow! It's mind-blowing if you're a fan, how great it is to think of your team winning the Super Bowl.

en We have a lot of great players but unless you come together as a team that doesn't matter. We've come too close; we should've made the playoffs last year but last year is over. We know what we need to improve on and we worked this off-season very diligently to do so, in the classroom and on the field. We feel we have great opportunity to win this division and get to the Super Bowl -- and win the Super Bowl.

en He's won a lot of football games in this league. He's been to six of these AFC championships. This is his second Super Bowl. He doesn't have to prove nothing to anybody, either. He wants to win a Super Bowl, obviously. That's what you play the game for, but his credentials speak for itself.

en If the Panthers win, the numbers for the Super Bowl will go off the charts. If we get the call, we'll be ready to go again.

en I'm very optimistic about the football team. John does a great job getting them ready, ... The [Super Bowl victory] built their expectations and the challenge is there for them this season.

really good football teams learn from it.
