 We have a great student-body here, just a lot of school pride. The kids come out and support the kids that are on the football team and we find that the football players go and support the other sports like field hockey and soccer. We really try to promote school pride.

 He's brought a mentality that soccer is an actual sport here. It's no longer just a football school. We're getting good players coming out. He wants the best out of us, whether it's on the field, in the classroom, or anything. He expects a lot.

 We call it a mobile computer lab, but it would be very hard to get it from school to school. It's really designed to be moved around the school from classroom to classroom.

 We have excellent teachers at every school. We have the same curriculum at every school. All of our schools are 100 percent accredited. One school might be newer. One school might be older. ... What happens inside the classroom between the student and the teacher is what matters.

 The poorest descriptor of a basketball program is whether their school has football or not. It's how good the players are and how well they execute on offense and how hard they play defense and how well they play together.

 Kids coming out of high school are coached better today. Nothing against the coaches I had in high school; I thought they were great coaches. But everything is so specialized now. I watch Gary Rankin (Riverdale head football coach). He was a teammate of mine at Tennessee. (Riverdale) has a different game plan for everybody they played.

 It was the opportunity to see high school football and see the stands full. I'm not saying that Columbus doesn't play good high school football. But Valdosta is a traditional powerhouse and was ranked No. 2 in the state. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.

 Remember this is a guy that played four years of high school football and lived in the weight room. If a guy is really dedicated, he can find the gym time and still do both sports, in addition to doing a great job in the classroom. It is also important to remember he has wonderful parents who have supported him and held him accountable for his class work and character.

 I didn't really know what to expect. Being from the East Coast, the SEC and ACC are all you hear about. You don't get to hear a whole lot about the Pac-10 in Georgia. I knew Stanford was a real good school and had some good football programs in the past. All I wanted to do was visit California. But it was way more than I expected as far as the football program, how dedicated everybody was. The guys were really nice, and there's a lot to do around here. I thought this would be a great place to go to school.

 Lange has that ?home? feeling. I know the teachers; I know the community; I know the parents. I?m excited to get the chance to go back and contribute positives to the great school.

 Give credit to Ryan, a good kid, a disciplined kid who wants badly to play. Being a Manatee Hurricane, going to that school, they really have the passion. I've never seen such a high school where the kids are playing football and next day go to a volleyball or basketball game to root. They're so close to each other. That factor makes him the way he is. He doesn't want to be outside. He wants to be part of that group. Hopefully, he can be 100 percent by football season.

 Man, he could he play some ball. I never got to play against him in football, but I watched him play my high school in basketball. He dominated. He led his team to the state championship. You knew back then he had all the talent to be a great one.

 It's obviously very rewarding, very exciting. All the kids are excited. The coaching staff is excited. There's a murmur in the school now. People in the school are talking more about it. It's great. It's fantastic.
