 Lange has that ?home? feeling. I know the teachers; I know the community; I know the parents. I?m excited to get the chance to go back and contribute positives to the great school.

 A number of families who attended Eighth Street are back as parents and teachers now. It seems that it is very common amongst people coming home - Ashley and I are not unique in that regard. Our parents instilled in us a sense of connection when we were young. It's great to see our daughter go to our school and encounter that feeling of comfort and camaraderie, that feeling of home.

 One of my biggest goals is to see if I can?t add to the great things already going on there. Lange is a very caring community. It?s like going home.

 It's been great. The community is behind us. The school is behind us. Parents are behind us. Everybody is behind us. It's a great feeling.

 It was a wonderful start to the school year. The students were excited to be back, the teachers were excited.

 Again, we put out a lot of video, and it was another situation where we had to find a school that had a need. And also the kid has got to like the school as well, and Larry did. They run a lot of one-back offense, and he has a shot to play right away. He will be going with a teammate (Jesse Fox), and he has a chance to do good in the classroom and on the football field. He's excited and it's a great fit.

 I had to sit down with both my parents and I was more stressed out with missing school. I have great teachers who worked with me.

 When we got started, my colleague, Brad Williamson, said that we ought to get schools involved. I was skeptical that school kids could contribute, but we designed something that teachers could use to help students contribute data.

 We have a wonderful, wonderful group of teachers and staff. They are the best. Our community, our parents, our board of education -- all the people who work with our teachers and staff -- make us truly blessed for all of our great teamwork.

 It has to end. Our students need to feel safe in school, ... Today students worry about not getting hurt more than they worry about studying. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. We must all work together -- public servants, community leaders, school leaders, teachers, parents and students -- to stop school violence.

 You can hear it around campus. We've been congratulated by so many people, teachers and friends. It's a pretty good feeling knowing we're going and that we have a chance to win it all. Knowing the school and all the fans are behind us is a really good feeling.

 We know there are issues at South High School that need to be addressed and we believe she'll be able to provide a better education for the kids and pull all of the stakeholders including parents, teachers and the community together to make a consensus.

 We have an enormous amount of great teachers out there, terrific teachers ... but we cannot get rid of the bad teachers. They're called the lemons. Each school has those lemons. And they call it the dance of the lemons, where they kick them from school to school but you can't get them out, ... What I say is, 'Let's kick them right out and let's dance them out the door rather than dancing them from school to school.'

 If I had one goal, it would be to help the president and other members of the board get the positives out there and continue to hammer home that it's a great school.
