But it may be the same reason we have a lottery now is to give teams that don't win games a better percentage in the lottery.

 The neatest thing for us is the coaches we get to deal with (that were in this) are all great people. We have relationships with them that go beyond basketball. To have three of the four Tri-Cities teams come in and play is a neat thing. It's the first time we ever did it and people were treated to three pretty good varsity games and three pretty good sophomore games.

 There have been a ton of penalties called, so special teams is going to dictate a lot of games. Whoever has good special teams can go far in the playoffs, and I think we have good special teams play when we want to.

 I've been wondering whether or not we could pull out a close one, and we did. I hate the fact that we had an early lead and then let them back into the game, but we did what we had to do to win. Special teams hurt us, and special teams helped us right there at the end.

 He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.

 But this one is so special because my daughter [Amy] is a part of it, and we beat so many good teams this year. We won 31 games. That's pretty amazing in itself.

 Special teams always play a huge role and this is the first year we have the new rules implemented and they've been calling them pretty tight in the playoffs and it's amazing how a call here or a call there can be the difference in a game.
