 Pretty amazing. There have been a lot of pretty good Ashland teams. And we should shatter that thing with all the games we have left.

 The neatest thing for us is the coaches we get to deal with (that were in this) are all great people. We have relationships with them that go beyond basketball. To have three of the four Tri-Cities teams come in and play is a neat thing. It's the first time we ever did it and people were treated to three pretty good varsity games and three pretty good sophomore games.

 I know one thing: It better keep us pretty focused. Because we're playing some pretty good teams. Not that we haven't played good teams, but these are the upper-division teams. I think the focus will be there.

 But this one is so special because my daughter [Amy] is a part of it, and we beat so many good teams this year. We won 31 games. That's pretty amazing in itself.

 There's nothing easy about being good, and to be good for 16 straight games is a pretty amazing thing.

 I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

 We're all wondering the same thing. We heard from exhibition games in Minnesota there were something like 10 or 15 five-on-threes, so your special teams better be pretty good.

 It is a little bit surprising to me (that the Phillies have refused to fade away). The only thing is, after we left there, they had a couple of pretty dramatic comeback wins. They're feeling pretty good about themselves right now.

 Coming down, 20 left, they have to play pretty darn good, we have to play pretty mediocre [to lose the division]. We still have head to head three games left.

 The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

 I can't paint a pretty picture of 0-2, ... We're not going to make it look pretty and say, 'Well, we've been here before, there's 14 games (left), it's a marathon, not a sprint.' But the reality is we do have 14 games to play and we can't panic.

 With four or five games left in the season, (a win) can swing a whole season around for anybody in this league. There are teams fighting for postseason play, and we make your résumé look pretty good.

 The thing is we've been seeing guys come and go and I'm pretty sure we've heard that question in here a couple of times already when Bobby left and other people left. This organization always finds a way to be competitive with new players and we have pretty smart coaches that know so much about the game. It's going to be up to us to do what we have to do on the ice.

 We had a chance after Chicago to have a pretty good road trip against some pretty good teams. At a big time of the year, we pretty much blew that here.

 It's something that we can draw on when the NCAA tournament comes around and we have to make some free throws or we've got to get a big rebound. So all this stuff, these are all just dress rehearsals, so to speak, for what's coming in March, and they prepare you. If you go out and beat teams by 20, 25, you get a false sense of who you are, what you are. I think we know pretty well after this trip that we're pretty good. We're not as good as you want to be yet, but we're pretty good.
