 If we can get it back in the last six to eight games then we have a chance to regroup for the playoffs. The good thing is that they're six winnable games. We have to get back to playing with each other.

 I hope we have a chance to play back-to-back-to back games. Our freshmen need to experience that and know how hard we've got to work this week in order to accomplish our goal of making it to the NCAA Tournament. The best thing is, we ARE getting better and better every day. I hope we have the chance to show that for a lot of games here.

 Comfort, that's probably the wrong word. I think the past two games maybe we have been a little too comfortable. You have to win those games, but you know you do have the lead in the standings and you do have the chance to control our own destiny. You have to win those games, and we have to find a way to do that now. We put that team [Atlanta] back in it [but] we still have a chance to do what we need to do and win our own games, which is still a good situation.

 We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. We have a chance to win 10, but you can't do that until you win No. 9. For us, it's all about Saturday.

 I'm just trying to be aggressive, trying to do whatever I can to win. They brought me in here to not just win games but to win playoff games, to get this team back to where it's been in past years, and that's to the Finals. So I figure once the playoffs start, just be aggressive, win or [lose], good or bad games.

 It's a long road ahead of us. We know we have to sweep them to get back into this thing, ... We have four games to get it done. We were in the reverse role last year. We were up three with nine games to play and the Angels overcame that and went to the playoffs. Hopefully we can do the same.

 I just want to get back in and back up to speed. Maybe I won't be there right away, but after playing the last 10 games or so, I'd definitely expect to be 100 percent for the playoffs.

 I've had some good games and bad games. I think I've been putting our team in situations to win most games in the fourth quarter. That's been one of my goals. But I have to improve my play in all aspects for us to have a chance to do well in the playoffs.

 These are the games we need. We did a good job getting ourselves back into the picture. But these are the games we need to win to make sure we get in the playoffs.

 Our record should have been flip-flopped. There was an inning in four or five games where we lost games. If we could have had five innings back, we would have made the playoffs. The playoffs are our goal.

 They're obviously going to be like playoff games. The way things are looking right now, we don't know whom we're going to play in the playoffs. Everybody is so tight. ... Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. It, for us, obviously has playoff implications and the way everybody has played the last two games, it's getting back to the way we should be playing.

 The main thing is just to get him back where he's playing basketball. There's no timetable as to get him action for games. It's more for him mentally to get himself confident. We're hopeful that he can get back and help us and his mindset is right. It's nice to see him back.

 Everybody knows Shaq and everybody knows that Shaq always says that when the playoffs come, he'll be there. So we weren't really worried. We knew after he missed 18 games that it was going to take him awhile to get back. But I think right now is the right time for this team, that around the break time, he has a chance to get back in shape and get his form back.

 Ever since the All-Star break, it seems like I haven't had too many good games. It's frustrating. We've still got six games with Cleveland. And the way that they're playing, they could sweep us right now. If we keep on playing like we're playing, we're not going to the playoffs. We'll be home on Oct. 3.

 In the last few games. we've done a good job of playing with intensity, and playing desperate. That's what we need to do for the next nine games. When we sit back and let other teams take it to us, that's when we get in trouble.
