 They were challenged to come out tonight and swing the bats. We lost to a good [Port Clinton] team, good pitcher, and we needed to redeem ourselves tonight.

 Anytime you can get the first run against a quality pitcher it's a big run.

 Jen did some good things for us tonight. She needed a game like this to test her and to see what she was made of. Jamie played well too. Obviously we're disappointed about missing a key piece to our puzzle in Lindsay, but we can't hang our heads. We feel like we still have a quality team with players that are still able to win a championship.

 It was really frightening. I'd never even heard of such a thing. I had no mobility. There were some points all I wanted was my quality of life to improve, because it was difficult to even play with my kids. So, to be able to get to this point, I feel very good about it.

 I always tell Matt anytime you throw the deep ball that if it's up in the air, I'll go get it. It just came down to who wanted it more.

 At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.

 I think that was a great pitch, a quality pitch. Matt is battling and trying to get his timing back. He took some quality swings tonight.

 We needed to prove to ourselves we could beat good teams, ... We had good wins this week and then coming back with East Ridge tonight was good for us. It really helps our mental state. Our kids need confidence, which will make us stronger. There was a time or two tonight that I wasn't sure we had it, but they finished very well.
