 We're a few miles out of New Orleans, about the distance from Lima to Columbus Grove. It's not far, but every mile counts when you're talking about flooding.

 The flooding is everywhere and I'm not talking about just New Orleans. I'm talking about all through Mississippi and Alabama. So this storm is really having a catastrophic effect throughout the South right now.

 I had never heard of Columbus Grove. After I got directions, I found out it was west. I had figured it was down by Columbus.

 If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

 The best use of your miles is international upgrades. Miles used in business class may have a value to 10 to 11 to 12 cents per mile versus one penny per mile when using them domestically.

 There are some extraordinary ice streams in East Antarctica that extend almost 500 miles -- nearly the distance along the Mississippi River from New Orleans to Cairo, Illinois.

 I didn't think he was a Derby horse until he won the Santa Anita Derby. He and War Emblem, they were crying out for more distance. You're talking about miles and miles of historic properties. But saving the historic context does not mean necessarily rebuilding everything in it. I don't think you build a bad 21st-century copy of a brilliant 19th-century building.

 I tip my hat to Columbus Grove, they were too good up front. They handled us on both sides of the ball, they won the battle of the trenches.

 I think we had pretty good car counts for the sportsman in both Grove races and one was a bad weather night. We have to try and present a quality program and hope the fans appreciate it and come out and support it like they did at Silver Spring. Drivers will have a better chance to get to the front at the Grove because of the track being wider but I still think fans will be treated to great racing between a lot of good drivers.

 We sometimes run one mile hard and one mile easy, and we do this for maybe four or five miles.
