 It's kind of weird, but that can be good or bad. It's sort of bad that we don't know but it can be good that it's just spur of the moment and that we can pop out at any time and it seems to pop out at the right time.

 You know this is the magic moment of their lives. Sometimes it's the kid who is always passed over in school. Or having a good time, but their face isn't having a good time. As I walk into the seats and say hi to people, I can pick one out. And doing that, you're not singling one out, you're inviting all of them.

 This was more of a spur-of-the-moment thing. Its kind of hectic.

 We sort of shut the company down for three or four weeks so that, as a writing group, we could take a deep breath and have a little time to think and plan and get some new material working so that when we came back into production, we could come back into a much more normalized kind of production schedule, which I think we did. And I think the scripts are really good. So given the givens, I think it was as good of a transition as you could have hoped for.

 We all sort of came at it from weird angles. Most of the guys in the band played rock music, punk rock, before this. I have a degree in English that I don't use very much anymore. That kind of thing is maybe good for serving you coffee in the morning these days.
