These new figures give us a clearer picture and a better way of understanding China's economy. Based on these figures, we can have even more confidence in our long-term fairly fast and sustained economic growth.

It looks like we will have quarter of a point increases for the rest of our natural lives or the next recession, whichever comes first. The Fed has not shown an ability to engineer a soft landing.

It's too early to call a turn in the trend, so Alan Greenspan can't relax completely, but it's certainly the kind of report that will help him sleep better.
