 Jim knew the word about The Legend of Bagger Vance was that Matt Damon didn't really look like a golfer. He didn't want that to be the case here. He wanted to have it all down, even the mannerisms.  I don't think he's got anything to be ashamed about. He did what he could do and he just didn't catch the breaks that he needed to. That's the way the game goes. He had one five-bagger (five strikes in a row) in the morning session and then a turkey (three strikes in a row) in the first game of the afternoon session, but after that, he'd run two in a row and then leave a stone eight or nine pin and he'd come back shaking his head.

 But I never was a strikeout pitcher like Bob Feller or Dizzy Dean or Dazzy Vance.

 I love to watch baseball because I understand it, and I'm a big fan of it. But [with] football, I can watch a whole game. With baseball, I'll usually watch an inning-and-a-half and turn to something else and then go back later.
