We came out ready gezegde

We came out ready to play today. That what we (coaches) wanted to see from this bunch, and they did exactly what we needed them to. We really set the tone early, and from that point on, we were pretty confident we'd get it done.

The nice thing today was we had a lot of kids play well and we played very unselfish basketball. That's how we have to play to be successful. We don't have a bunch of superstars. We've just got a bunch of guys who can be pretty good at this game when they play together. I think we proved that today.

There was no enthusiasm ... We just seemed like a bunch of guys like a deer in the headlights, a lot of guys just wondering who is going to make the plays instead of going out and making the play. That's how it was to me. Whoever is on the field first is going to set the tone, and we can't let the other team go down the field and get a long run and set the tone early in the game. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. There was no enthusiasm ...  Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. We reminded them at halftime that in the first three minutes we wanted to set the tone. Well, we didn't set the tone. Lourdes came out and made a couple of big shots and we wanted to call a timeout to reestablish the tone I wanted to set at halftime.

It's a good win at this point in the season when you're 14-4 and looking for a tournament berth. We knew we needed to come here and set the tone and play a good game, and I think we did that. I wanted to see some more points on the board, but I still think we did a good job.

We wanted to come in and run the football and establish the run and build off that, and we did that early, and I think that set the tone. We're pretty happy offensively. We knew we would be pretty good. We just had to get caught up, get reps for another week, and we thought we'd be OK.

It was great the way we shared the ball. I was pleased with the unselfish play of getting everybody involved. They came ready to play and set the tone early.

It definitely will be a little tone setter. If you can beat them and set a good tone, maybe in the back of their minds they'll get frustrated. But if they walk in and beat us, 5-1, pretty easily, I think they'll be pretty comfortable and confident. So for both teams it's an important game.

We really wanted to set a tone early. We wanted to establish an interior presence, as well as take charge on the defensive end, and we wanted to do it early.

We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. In the end we were rewarded. Even though we didn't score any goals, we set the tone in the first period.

We set the tone early. We wanted to be able to grab the lead and play a solid 60 minutes.

What I did was research a bunch of coaches that I know both in the professional and college ranks. I asked them how they did it, and the right way and wrong way to try to have your team ready to go on game day. It doesn't do me any good if my guys are ready to go on Dec. 27. It's whether they are ready to go on Jan. 2.

We wanted to try to set the tone on the defensive end and really take it to Albany early. We felt like we wanted to establish our presence here at home and I thought we did a great job of that early on.

Charlotte is a good three-point shooting team but today we didn't do a good job of guarding them and they knocked a bunch early. We allowed them to get into a free-wheeling game and just didn't play smart.

I try to keep things in house, but there's a certain tone in here, man, and we're going to keep that. If you can't (abide) by the tone, you won't be here, you won't play. I don't sign nobody's checks and (expletive) like that, but you've got to be prepared and ready to play, man.
