We're playing an Alabama gezegde

 We're playing an Alabama club that's always feisty. They have a great Friday night guy and two others that take them deep into games, and they have a good closer.

 It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

 The pitching was really good for the most part. South Alabama's (junior) pitcher P.J. Walters was great for them. Friday night's game was more of a pitchers' duel. Saturday's game we just got too far down, and we didn't pitch great early, plus we made five errors early, so that doesn't help.

 We've gotten a lot of great support from the community. Our boosters club and our quarterback club purchased the tickets for us and Zach Wade took care of our hotel accommodations for Friday night in Lebanon. We're thankful for all the support we receive.

 I am happy to be here at Alabama. By playing four games a week, I don't really have the time to dwell on things like this. Somewhere down the road, when I look back on this night, I am sure I will appreciate it more and more.

 The Alabama back-to-school sales tax holiday will be good for Alabama parents, good for Alabama teachers, good for Alabama retailers and good for Alabama's economy.

 I had all my pitches working and the adrenaline was definitely going. It was great playing on that field and I had to keep the fans out of my head. Having all the girls on the same page was great. This is exactly what I have been thinking about since last fall, getting the chance to go up against a team like Alabama. It's what I have been playing for and waiting for - all those summer games and high school ball.

 We did pretty well. We moved the ball against Jenks and we moved the ball against Westmoore. It gave us a little bit of the scenario for what Friday night will be like. It was good for us. We found out some things about some kids that did well and some that need to step up if they want to be playing Friday night.

 (Having mid-week games) is great. It's almost like the pros. With three games you need to get your rest and get your fluids. You also need to make sure you get your homework done, because you don't have every night free until Friday.

 Playing quality schools like Alabama and South Florida are always good to have on a schedule playing-wise. Conference games are definitely the most important. Stephen F. Austin and Texas State are some of the standout games, and we want to play them hard to garner the respect of the other top tier teams in the conference.

 They're a club that's always feisty and well-prepared. They seem to be on a really good roll right now. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

 Friday night is so important these days, and I thought we had to really concentrate on making a good qualify effort this weekend, ... After being No. 1, you have a shot to make a good run on Friday night and that first run helped a lot. It's so important to make a good pass on the first run to put yourself near the back of the order for the night run.

 They're very sound fundamentally. They'll be a very, very good club. If we think because we beat Alabama and Alabama beat them that we're going to win that series then we're going to be in for a long weekend.

 Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

 I knew [Friday] night was one of those type of games that bounces just weren't going my way. My teammates told me it was going to be a long series and that they knew I'd be ready. I made some good saves [Friday], even though I let in a few bad goals. I just tried to carry those good saves into tonight.
