 We're a different team without Wilber. We needed Julie to step up and she did. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. I just told her before the game, 'you got to carry us.

 It's something we've needed. It's nice when you have someone to take that pressure off when a team's sole strategy is to take things away from Megan. That helps quite a bit. If there was a game we needed somebody to step up, it was that one and it was a tremendous effort on Julie's part.

 As soon as Julie stepped in, I knew that I would have to step up my diving. Julie works really well with the team and the coach-athlete relationship is very strong.

 Julie pitched a great game today and just missed a no-hitter. Julie is one of our young players that is stepping up for us.

 I told the team before the game they didn't quite seem to have the passion and intensity you need to have every time you step on the field. That's something this team is usually good at. That concerns me a little bit.
