 I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. It?s been like that for us for a while. The starting pitching hasn?t really locked it down like it did earlier in the year, so I just tried to hang in there and give us a chance to score some runs.

 We scored a lot of runs, but we also gave up a lot of runs. As far as hitting the ball, we all felt comfortable. It's disappointing. A loss is a loss. You don't want to lose, especially in a day where you score a lot of runs.

 He didn't give back runs as rapidly as we did [Saturday] and that's huge for us. It takes a lot to score runs. Some days it seems pretty easy, but when you keep giving up runs, it takes the wind out of your sails.

 I think I just went out there pitching a lot harder knowing these girls won't score a lot of runs on me. I think tomorrow they shouldn't score more than two runs on any of us.
