 We want to have so many teams that we have to move to other places than just Old Fort. If people want to play for fun, they can play in one league. Everyone who wants to win, win, win and show their skills can play in a competitive league. We're trying to get as many women as possible.

 We thought it would be a competitive league, it is a competitive league. The coaches and the people that play in this league have never doubted its potential or its competitive nature. ... It's a tough league.

 I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

 Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

 There are some tough places to play in this league, and there are some good teams. You can count on one thing at Miami: They're going to give you their best games. We've got to be ready for that in this league.

 It was a very important victory for Porto. In the Champions League the smaller teams can beat the biggest. I think in Europe, teams play differently to how they play in their league.

 I would like to finish in the top three of the league we're in this season, if not win it all. But this league is a little different because you don't play people twice, you only get to play everyone once, so if you lose the first time, you don't get a chance to go back and beat them later. He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy. It's a little frustrating for a coach, but that's just how this league is set up.

 Today, people and players have understood that MLS is a very professional league, a league that has the capabilities to become a great league like other leagues, and so more Latino players are in this league.  We set a precedent that we can play a good team, we can play defense and we're one of the better teams in the league. I saw [Borders] was ahead of me in scoring, and I wanted to let him know I want to be the top scorer in this league.

 Anytime you play schools from higher leagues, they're preparing us for our league. We've played some really good teams. I would like to play those teams at home sometimes for my own feelings that if we could do that, we could be competitive with them. Playing at home and not having to travel is a plus.

 The Pac-10 obviously did pretty well against the SEC this past week, ... Our players need to be aware of that and know that our league is nationally-known and when we go play places people are anxious to play us.

 Their kids played extremely hard. It?s a competitive league. Even the teams that are down a little bit seem to at least play competitively and play hard.

 We have received questions from players all over the West – Utah, California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico – since the move was announced. We understand how good the competition is, that we're going to places like BYU to play in front of 60,000 instead of some places in Conference USA to play in front of 6,000. Bigger stadiums. A stronger league. Stronger nonconference scheduling. It's all a big difference for us and yet our kids are very excited.

 We're not broken. It's a play here and a play there. That was the biggest thing. We're probably four plays from being 4-0, which is [typical] league play in any league. We've had a chance to win, and I wanted to make sure our guys understand that.

 This is, from top to bottom, a very good league. You have to be ready to play every night. The ruggedness of this league, I think, helps teams to get ready to play in the state tournament. No question it prepares us better.
