Howard the Duck gezegde

en  Howard the Duck ... should have been good, but every mistake in the book was made with that movie, and it didn't work. I didn't want to butt-in...

en It totally sounds like an advice book, ... but there's not a shred of advice in the entire book, which is good for any of your readers. It's a novel. It's a humor book. It's sort of a what-if scenario of what would happen if you took a B-movie actor, meaning me -- I take the lead role in the book -- and put him into a big Hollywood movie. The answer is that it's not good. It's a misadventure. I single-handedly take down a big Hollywood movie.

en My husband did his job, and he would have done it 10 times over. Yes, he made a mistake. It was an administrative error. He didn't report it because he didn't want to or because he was covering it up. He made a mistake; we all make mistakes, but I don't think that life in prison is something that he should be facing, especially when this drug smuggler will never serve a day in prison for what he did.

en As good business people, we'd be silly not to tap into every fan of the book and hope they will become a fan of the movie. We don't believe we're making a Christian movie. We believe we're following the story of the book faithfully and allowing everyone to interpret it how they want depending on how they've connected to the book.

en We didn't want to be a part of their movie. No Glory Road . We didn't want to be the team in the movie that gets upset by the good guys.

en It's a great day. I wish I didn't make that mistake. I was charging the whole way down. I was a bit surprised to have such a good time. With that kind of mistake I didn't expect that. But I need to get those (mistakes) out of my skiing and then maybe I can beat this guy Giorgio Rocca.

en We didn't say anything about it until they started mouthing off over there. The boys didn't like that, and I didn't either. That was the mistake they made.

en I look like a duck. It's the way my mouth curls up, or my nose tilts up. I should have played Howard the Duck.
  Michelle Pfeiffer

en We are all so impressed with the book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, that a petition has been circulated asking that it be made into a movie. We have chosen you to send it to. In hopes that you might also see the possibilities of a movie, we have enclosed a copy of the book.

en I just don't think we were ready for Fayetteville. We celebrated our win over Little Rock Central last week a little too long. We came out and didn't protect, didn't throw the ball well and didn't run routes well. Nothing went right and it was mistake after mistake.

en I was looking for a movie where I wasn't the lead in it and a movie where I could go in and work with great actors, ... I didn't want to have to carry my first movie.

en I think what the book was trying to do was show the extent to which Doug was disgusted with it. It just didn't fit in. I guess disgusted isn't the word. He just didn't seem to fit. He had a good time. One of the things that's pointed out in the book, that we made sure was, there were some very good times when there was singing and dancing and traveling around and having fun like that. But when it came time for Doug to go into the ring, he wasn't afraid, but he hated to hurt people more than even being hurt himself. He just found it repulsive. He just did not want to be a part of causing pain to anyone. He was completely non-violent -- and huge and strong.

en They're a good offensive club. But we didn't pitch very well. You've got to give them credit. They swung the bats well. When we made a mistake they made us pay. We made enough of 'em. We left too many balls out over the plate.

en When I make a mistake with my kids at home, I sit down with them and say 'I'm sorry' and that I made a mistake and that I'm going to be a better dad. And you do the same thing with your job. I said, 'Hey, I'm sorry that I didn't come through today.' The good thing is that this wasn't a playoff game and that it's not the end of the year. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. When I make a mistake with my kids at home, I sit down with them and say 'I'm sorry' and that I made a mistake and that I'm going to be a better dad. And you do the same thing with your job. en The movie really hit home. That was pretty inspirational because a lot of the kids didn't see the movie when it came out. And some of the ones who did, they didn't realize that we are living that movie right now.
