 We have to give Missouri a lot of credit. They have a great ball club. We didn't pitch the way we usually do, and they came out and swung the bat well. But, we played hard and you have to give us credit for not giving up and really playing those nine innings.

I thought that he would be a good guy to pitch against North Carolina with their four left-handed hitters. Had he pitched poorly tonight we would have gone with anybody else.

 It was one of those innings. I threw a few decent pitches, and some balls fell in there. I made a big mistake that cost me. I have to eliminate those mistakes. Half of my runs have been on fastballs I left over the middle of the plate.
