 I thought we came out really well offensively then we started to throw the ball away. We didn't read the defense and find the open man.

 We want to score more points, ... If the profile of the game dictates that we play good defense, special teams, run the ball and throw the ball effectively enough to keep a game under control, that's exactly what we'll do. Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.

 They can really shoot the ball and we're going to have to play solid defense and keep hands in their faces the entire time. We feel like we can get the ball inside but we're going to have to score some points to win this one.

 [Shaq's nearly impeccable on-court comportment certainly earns him points with the refs.] If most players were fouled the way Shaq gets fouled--hard fouls, hacking--they'd be ready to fight, ... but Shaq just takes it and goes to the free throw line.

 I thought we played pretty well on defense and ran the ball well. I thought we controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball most of the night. I'm just happy with the win.

 He shot horrible -- not horrible, but not as well -- last night, and we still found a way to win. This is what this team is made of. If everything is not going our way, we still are going to find a way to get the win.

 We just didn't shoot the ball well from the field or the free-throw line. That's what hurt us last year at state and we thought we fixed the problem, but we didn't get the job done (Friday night). That's also a credit to Del Norte to because they play great defense.

 We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.

 They played great defense. It seemed like the whole night our field position was horrible. You can't give a good team like Cedar Falls the ball at midfield or closer.

 It was a very ugly game. In games like that you have to find ways to score and we got to the free throw line and knocked them down. In the fourth, we made some adjustments defensively and I think Bentonville might have been a little tired.
