 This was a huge win because Highland is a good team. You're always nervous for that first game but I think we did well.

 This was a good bounce back game for us. We got up early and had good at-bats throughout the game. The guys showed a lot of maturity against a Highland team that is always good fundamentally.

 It was a good match. Highland was a great team, and it was a well-fought game all around. It was very much a team effort on our part.

 You can't get down 22-8 to a team like Highland and expect to be competitive. We just came out too emotional on Senior Night and (Highland) just picked us apart.

 Highland's always been the top team. Last year we beat Poky and Century, but we weren't where Highland's usually at. We definitely want to get back up there.

 We have a huge rivalry with Highland, so the game was real intense with the fans. It was one of the most intense games of the season so far. It was a division game and a physical battle.

 To be able to come back and tie the game late playing a man down was huge for us. I don't know what was wrong with us. Either we were nervous or we're just not that good.

 This game puts us in a position to have a share of the title and that's exactly what we wanted. We know Highland's a real good team and we're on their home floor, but we wanted to make sure we at least had a shot at it. Now we do.

 We're trying to find the right chemistry on the floor. We are struggling a little bit right now. Highland is a good team and they played well. We are also a good team but we did not play well for the majority of the night. We'll continue to work on a lineup that can execute on both ends of the court.

It was a breakout game for Katie [Nelson], and for all of us, putting it together. We did it by not turning the ball over, and making some extra passes and making free throws when we needed to.

 She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. This game means everything. It means a lot. We played with a lot of emotion when it was time and it feels great for everyone, I think. Every game we can see progress. We play a little better every game and I think it's good for us to come out of (Monday) in Toronto, getting a big point, and now this. This is a huge win for us, and not only on the scoreboard. Emotionally, as a team, it's huge.

 Highland is a good team and they are very quick. You cannot spot a team like that 13 points in the first quarter and expect to win. It's unfortunately very typical of us to start out slowly. We've been doing it all year.

 They're perky, they're not nervous, which is always a good sign. You're always worried about them getting a little too intense with the magnitude of the game, but they're not. I don't know how that plays out in the game, but I'd rather they be loose than nervous.

 We think that's an advantage. We do a lot of scouting, so it does mean a lot. Highland is a very tough team. They have good inside-outside play.

 Highland is a good team. Credit them for playing well. They deserve to be the state champions.
