 Look at the Chiefs and Chargers in our division, they use tight ends big-time in the red zone. We need to do the same thing.

 From then on, pretty much every day I would work with Chris Turner, the tight ends coach. Now I am strictly a tight end. I got my hand in the dirt.

 We knew they were going to line up in 12 personnel (one back, two tight ends) and run their inside zone and try to get at us. Thank God, we had a couple of guys step up and make a play.

 We're excited about having him next year as we learn more about our offense and become more complex. You look at the Dallas Cowboys, their tight ends play a big role in their offense, and we're hoping T.J. can do that for us next year, too.

 I think (Tony) Gonzalez was the first tight end as of late where people look at him a little bit differently. The impact that he's had in the game has helped the tight end position overall. They're looked at as a skill position. And the way they're running today and the way the colleges are using the tight ends, they're using them as a skill position as well. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end.

 I think he pitched well. That was a tight strike zone, but a very consistent strike zone. Brandon never let it shake him. He kept his composure, and I thought he did an excellent job.

 We'll really focus on our defensive game, keeping it tight like we have been of late. And a big key for us, because they have some explosive forwards, is trying to control the neutral zone. If we can do that, that'll stunt their offense, and pick up ours.

 And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

 We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). Chris knocked down that 3-pointer early. That set the tone for us. I think we got some easy looks out of our zone offense. That got them out of their zone defense late in the first quarter. Then, our man offense worked really good.

 You see a lot of great tight ends come out of here because we use the tight end a lot. I think you can look for the same this year, especially with Greg. Big, strong, fast and athletic tight end. Definitely going to be a great target for me, especially when I get in trouble.

 It's not what we want, our top two tight ends to be restricted a little bit. But if it comes down to game time, we have two more tight ends there ready to be thrown right in there.
