 Most heavyweights are not concerned with technique. They just go out there and try to out-muscle you and take you down. A stronger wrestler is a better wrestler, but the more technique you have, the better your chances are of winning.

 He's a really good wrestler -- a smart wrestler -- and he caught me with an arm drag. He had great technique.

 When he's on, he is as good as anyone we've had. Technique-wise, he's as explosive a wrestler as we've had.

 Right now, he's recovering from a pinched nerve. He's one of the top guys in the state. He's also a wrestler. He's got good technique along with strength.

 He never misses practice and he works hard on the technique we show him. I always tell him we're marketing you as the type of wrestler we want. If you listen then good things will happen like this.

 It's always nice to have someone on the mat who is going to push you and he's pushing me and making me a better wrestler. Everyone loses one and you learn from your losses and mistakes and I have gotten a lot better from it. He's a good wrestler and I'm a good wrestler and I just had a better match.

 Mack has tremendous technique and flawless execution. What is most impressive about Mack is that he's always in great position, which is an indication he'll be an outstanding collegiate wrestler.

 Mike isn't the quickest wrestler we've ever had, nor is he the strongest. With him, it is all about attitude, technique and conditioning. That gives him the edge. He also cares about this team so much. He will do everything in his power to help the team, whether it is getting a pin or being a strong leader on the bench when other guys are falling asleep.

 That part is fun, the technical part. It's fun trying to master the technique. But breathing hard, I don't know. It's not that fun for me. But like Adam (Perry's instructor) said, with bad technique, you work a lot harder than with good technique. You have to be efficient.

 Training has been hard, but we're starting to focus more on racing and holding our technique when we're tired. Beyond just having fun and growing as a team, we hope to use the weekend to focus on our turns, our technique and winning the close races.

 You can say you wrestle, but if you lose all your matches you're not really a wrestler. I didn't consider myself a wrestler until my sophomore year, but now, I do.

 She is an excellent wrestler. She is quick, has great moves and handles herself well on the mat. She has the tools. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. She is just a good, solid wrestler.

 Nathan is an unorthodox wrestler. He's the type of wrestler who goes against all the odds and gets away with it because of his ability.

 We were fine with the seventh seed. Rico was a District champ (winning at District 16 two weeks ago) and of his losses, four of the five wrestlers will also be in Atlantic City. So he's a quality wrestler. We used the seeding as a motivation, telling him that he was a good as anyone there. He went out there and had a great weekend. He opened up and wrestled more freely. Rico is hard to score on. He's what I call a funky wrestler.

 My technique is laughable at times. I have developed a style of my own, I suppose, which creeps around. I don't have to have too much technique for it. I've developed the parts of my technique that are useful to me. I'll never be a very fast guitar player. I don't really know what to say about my style. There's always a melodic intent in there.
