Our men's team has gezegde

 Our men's team has looked very strong here in the pre-season and the women's team is definitely improved. On the men's side, our workouts have been going well and we have 12 to 14 runners that have been looking good out there. Our women are much farther along than they were at this point a year ago.

 We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had. We still have some work to do but I like what I see so far. This is a very experienced team and they know what it takes.

 The women had an outstanding day in placing second at the McPherson Invitational on a windy day. Six out of seven runners improved their times from last week's meet. Overall, the women ran about a minute faster on the Rolling Acres course compared to a year ago.

 We want to be a better team on the women's side. This meet will be a good starting point.

 We raced very well. Louisville is a very, very good team. The men swam better than the women did, which actually is fairly typical. We had some very good swims on the women's side.

 It's going to be an exciting team. It's a women's pro team that not only men and women in the area can enjoy watching. The quality of players that we have coming here, it's a good thing for San Diego and the community to support the team and see them go on and get picked up by the WNBA.

 I was very pleased with how the season went. The team had a very good year, even though we would have liked to have made it a little farther in the NCAA tournament. But the team did well. Hopefully we can have more of that kind of success next season.

 We had our teams everywhere. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. The baseball team went to New Mexico State, men's and women's basketball went to the University of Texas at Tyler, the swim team was at Emory, track and field went to LSU, men's golf to LSU-Shreveport, the women to Nicholls State. And we canceled the volleyball season.

 They haven't said so publicly, but the women players involved here are known to feel that once the men start taking their cuts on Friday, the women are pretty much forgotten. Not a problem this year. The women could be forgotten before the men begin their phase of the event. The circumstances relate as much to the compelling possibilities contained in the men's draw as to the lack of them on the women's side.

 The women's team has a solid pack through six runners, and we won't plan to rely on just one person to compete well. It will be a true team effort.

 It's individual, especially on the men's side. I want to see how the freshmen compete. From the team perspective, it's irrelevant on the women's side. We won't even have a team score.

 They looked like a strong running team against Mount Vernon. They have some real talent on the line and have some good running backs ... they look much improved from last year.

 Two years ago we were not where we'd like to be. Last year we improved quite a bit. We definitely have some stars on the women's side that can score some points.

 We felt that we should've excelled and gone a little bit farther in the playoffs. But we think we are a playoff team and we hope to be better this year. There were certainly some positive things about last year. We missed out on the division by one point. We felt like we were having a good playoff series and got some bad breaks and it didn't go our way. But the objective is to go as far as you can, and we think we are capable of going farther.
