When we first started, there weren't quite so many people. But this last year, we were always full.

There used to be a lot fewer people and you tended to know them all. I don't know who and the [heck] all these people are. When I started coming here there weren't the agents, there weren't the gurus, there weren't the equipment salesmen. There were members and press and players and families.

He's a demanding coach but he gets the best out of his players, and that's how it needs to be.

We have pretty ambitious plans. Starting with Factions, we're shooting for two campaigns every year. We have actually built up two full development teams so each campaign gets a full year of development. Factions comes out April 28, exactly one year after the original. Factions' development kicked off early last summer. Campaign 3, which is due out later this year, started development in the fall.

We got to get that hunger back. Last year is over with. It's a whole new ballgame. Nobody is going to feel sorry for us. We're not labeled as that sorry team anymore. We might be now, but we were a good team last year and we weren't when we started this year.

Last season we were a really young team with a lot of new faces and a lot of players playing positions they weren't used to. Since we all kind of started off that way last year, we've grown together. We came in fit this year and we're on a mission.

We got stagnant and started standing in our zone. We weren't guarding people in our area. They were attacking, and we weren't responding to that challenge. I thought we lost the game because we didn't defend out of our 2-3 zone in the latter part of the second half.

When we started lighting up the house, everyone started doing it. It just went a little further and further every year. It's kind of contagious. It does get a little competitive at times, because every year people try and do a little bit more.

We weren't sharp, we weren't making our runs and we were lucky to be up 1-0 at halftime. In the second half we started doing the things that made us successful. We started making runs and utilizing our speed.

We definitely feel more pressure this year. The year before we took fifth place, so people weren't really looking at us as much. But this year we know we have to defend our title. We know people will be watching us.

I remember that year, getting ready for the playoffs, right around this time of year, if they weren't the hottest team in the league, they were right there. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. We knew we'd have our hands full. They're poised to be the same kind of dangerous team this season.

I knew we weren't as good as people were talking about. We started out 5-0, and Vidalia was the best team we played. And that was the first game of the year for both teams. We had about 20 tables, and they were just overwhelmed and people just started walking away. We just weren't prepared to register that many people, but it isn't over. Yesterday was just day No. 1. We'll be back.
