 We didn't have a lot of plays, and it was 90 percent running. Execution was more important to him. We'd have only two formations and see if anybody could stop it.

 This will be a completely different game. Henry Clay runs a more spread offense. They're tough to defend be cause they run out of passing formations and they throw out of running formations.

 The defense knows the offense pretty well. They know where the running plays are going. We made a lot of progress on defense. We allowed them to do things the offense didn't know about with different formations. It will be good to see on film how guys reacted. It is always a concern when the offense doesn't score points.

 It's probably about 70 percent right now. I didn't feel too good running the bases, so I had to stop at first.

 They have a very capable quarterback whose been running their system since high school, and knows it like the back of his hand. They've just got a lot of formations, a lot of different plays. We just have to stay focused.

 She plays defense just as hard as she plays offense, and that's 100 percent, 100 percent of the time. She does that no matter what kind of drills we are running or what we are doing. She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness. She fits in perfect.

 I thought the defensive execution wasn't there at the end. The offensive execution was good enough. We were scoring, but when didn't execute on defense. We couldn't stop them from penetrating towards the basket.

 I wasn't anywhere near 100 percent. Probably about 80 percent. Some of the plays that I'm normally able to make, from sideline to sideline, running and pursuing plays and getting after the quarterback, I wasn't able to do because of my limited ability. But I was able to do what I could do. It's something that I have to deal with until I get back to 100 percent.

 One of the things we're most proud about is that we didn't show any tendencies. Maybe we did if we were inside the 10-yard line, but when it was first-and-10, we'd run so many plays from various formations.

 [Cannon pointed to third downs. Kolb kills them.] We'd stop him on first and second down, and third down we'd give up the play, ... This year, getting off the field on third downs would be a big help to us. Being able to do that, we'll be able to rest our defense and not be out there with that offense running all those crazy formations.

 The big thing is we were able to stop them from running down the floor. We got back on defense, didn't give them any cheap buckets. We made them set up and call the play and we were able to defend those plays pretty well.

 I don't believe it's as simple as just better shooting. It's just a case of we've really been running our plays well and are getting better open looks. And we've been knocking them down, so execution has been the biggest thing.

 Navy is going to go triple option nearly 70 percent of the game. We're really going to have to be geared up to stop them. You might stop them five plays in a row, but all of the sudden, they get the pitch out there and they get a 60-yard play.

 It was a frustrating day for me personally. I didn't get the ball to second base like I wanted to. It was partly my job to stop the running game, and I didn't have any success doing that. Maybe there's something I'm tipping off in my setup to keep him from running all over the place.

 We're not a team of breakdown individuals. We're much more a team of execution. We're going to have to work on execution tomorrow, the next day and continue. It's fine when we're running. It's not quite as fine in the half-court set. Yet I've seen us in the half-court set be brilliant. I'm not sure we truly have a guy we would run five plays in a row for.
