Come on. Football is gezegde

 Come on. Football is instincts and reaction. It's not basketball, where you're waiting for somebody to set a screen. It's ludicrous.

 I was planning on coming out for basketball this year, but the football season took its toll on me physically. I needed to rest and rehabilitate some injuries. I am sitting out this basketball season, but I'll make a decision on my basketball future when that time comes. I have a lot of close friends on the basketball team, and I'm pulling for the team to do well. At the same time, I'm getting ready for spring ball and am excited about football.

 Aaron is a very good shooter. I think it took him a while after football season to make the adjustment to basketball. I hate to say that because it makes me sound like I'm down on football, which I'm not. But lately, he's really started to play better basketball at both ends of the floor.

 To question whether Dave Odom can coach a basketball game, that's ludicrous.

 These guys are not professional football players. I think the whole concept is ludicrous.

 Jimmy's done a good job with that team. He's got a lot of ideas and has good football instincts. Being the son of a football coach for all those years kind of rubs off on you.

 I miss football a lot. Football made me a better teammate basketball-wise because I knew I needed my line and my receivers to block for me. Once I realized how much I needed my teammates to make me look good, that helped me as a basketball player.

 They (the fans) are never going to forget to go to football games. This is a dominant football school. But we're trying to get basketball up there with the football program.

 A lot of pro tournaments are going to this large screen. I went to the British Open and they had a big screen. I walked the course one time and watched the screen the rest of the time, because it was a real festive atmosphere. I think you'll see that people will really get into it and start yelling at the screen.

 We knew we were gonna have a good shot in basketball. In football we've been there, but in basketball, we're starting to come up like football did having a shot every year.

 You don't go into the National Gallery of any famous capital city and cry, sob, laugh, fall about on the floor, become very angry - it's a completely different reaction. It's a reaction which is to do with a much more composed sense of regarding an image; it's a reaction with a thought process as opposed to an immediate emotional reaction.

 Brando represented a reaction against the postwar mania for security. As a protagonist, the Brando of the early 50's had no code, only his instincts. He was a development from the gangster and the outlaw.

 He's a young kid that's going to make some young mistakes but we just have to get him playing fast all of the time. When he hesitates, that's when he gets in trouble. He needs to believe in his instincts, believe in his reads, prepare during the week so that he knows it and it's a natural reaction and just go play.

 I think one thing that Barrett has is he's a football player. He not only has the physical tools, but he has the instincts, too.

 How can you compare me with Diego Maradona? That is simply ludicrous. Maradona is a star in the football heavens.
