 Sometimes coach is calling stuff and I don't understand some of the things he's calling. I ask Phil Ford or Herb Williams just to give me some insight, so I think coming off the bench has really been helping me.

 We tried a couple of things throughout the week. It ended up with Coach Tice doing it. Coach Loney was up in the booth, calling plays down. He is always bringing up good ideas and he is the (offensive coordinator). But the best way for us today was Coach Tice calling them in. It worked for us and got us in rhythm.

 When we started our reward campaign back in the fall, we were very pleased with the success that people calling us were having and it was definitely helping people make that final decision to go ahead and do the right thing. Many had been contemplating calling us for a long time. We just decided that if some is good, more is better. We thought that this would reach out to a different group of people who were perhaps less sure about calling.

 You could hear coach Chancellor on the sidelines calling her number, calling her play. She just did a great job.

 Sometime Thursday morning, we heard helicopters outside. Then I heard someone calling my name — 'Williams! Deborah Williams!' — and I knew we were saved. We all started hugging each other, and soldiers started coming in from the roof.

 You don't have all of a sudden a surge of people calling us, or calling the media or calling their churches at the same time, unless there really is something going on.

 Over the last four games, I've let him call our pitches. He's done a good job of calling the games. You have to be able to understand the game to call pitches. I've always liked to have the catcher calling the pitches because a coach can only see so much.

 Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. That was tough. We got a few breaks, right up front. They got a few breaks. But overall, they were calling what they see, nothing you can do about it except go along with it because they are calling the game. But it does really change the momentum of games when stuff like that happens.

 Luckily I had somebody to help me in the street that kept calling and calling and calling that's the only way I got out. If you don't have anyone to help you, you're just lost in the system.

 Matt (Williams the coach) said that he saw my role as coming off the bench as an impact player but obviously I see myself as more than just that.

 I have great respect for Walt and all the stuff he has done. For years, I have been calling him to ask him what's up, how to do this and how to do that. He is a really good football coach.

 (The referees) have been calling (penalties) and sticking to them. They've been calling them when it's 5-on-4 and they've been calling it late in game and in overtime. It's made for a better game.

 You would give up your career if you lost your voice for good, or if the impresarios stopped calling, or the audiences stopped coming. But as long as those things are there, I don't plan to stop. There is nothing that makes me feel better than to be with my public.
