 Jonathan's a guy we wanted out of high school. We think he's going to be an excellent fit for our style of play.

 He is an excellent player. I saw him play in high school. He was in my recruiting area. I have a good understanding of what kind of player he is, and he's excellent. An excellent athlete, an excellent runner and a better passer than he showed at Utah. We expect a huge game out of him.

 We were just trying to establish the culture that we wanted and the style we were going to play with. That was a high effort, high energy going after the football style of defense.

 I mean, from your hair style to the way it looked when you went to high school, ... to how sorry you were in high school and how they don't play any football down there. Everything I can think of, you're definitely going to hear about it.

 The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is intriguing, prompting women to want to learn more about him. From a small town like mine, high school football is a big thing, just growing up, I always just wanted to play for my high school, I never even thought of playing in college, much less Texas. Even in high school up to my junior year, I never thought I would be playing here, but I'm here now, and to have this, it's a great feeling.

 It's really interesting having him, as his style of play is so different from what we have around here. He stays wide open, and makes a lot of board-to-board passes. Massachusetts high school hockey is a more physical, man-to-man, muck-it-up style of hockey.

 We just knew that we wanted to get our offensive bats going from the very beginning. I think I wanted it a lot, too, because this is region play and we haven't beaten Spanish Fork in high school ball since I was a freshman. I just wanted it really bad.

 I like it. We did it a little bit in high school. It's like a high school-style with power I guess. Like the ole' days.

 Our intensity was terrific. I thought we forced them to have to play the way we wanted them to play. They had been able to dictate their style of play against everyone and we wanted to make sure that they had to play the way we wanted them to play.

 He had a lot of Division I aspirations coming out of high school. When I got here, he was the first guy I went after and recruited hard. With the running and pressing style we want to play, he was the perfect fit for us.

 I was 245 pounds coming out of high school and some other schools wanted me to play linebacker. But I wanted to be a D-end. I just love getting after the quarterback.

 I really wanted to show everyone Jones was right to believe in me. First of all, nobody wanted to recruit me out of high school. Then here comes June Jones walking into my high school. He took a chance on a guy who just tore his ACL. I think I weighed, like, 145. He offered me a scholarship. I felt I owed him a lot. I was going to give him everything I have.

 Our intensity was terrific. We forced them to play the style we wanted to play. They have been dictating their style of play against everyone.

 After high school, I always said I wanted to play somewhere.

 They told me I could come to school right away. They wanted me to 'prop,' but you lose a year under Prop 48. I didn't want to do that and my high school coach [Mike Smith] didn't want me to do that, so he made a call to Coach [John] Shuman at Fork Union. I wanted all my turns to play.
