 It's not what I thought we'd finish. You've gotta' have some talent, but you've gotta' have some depth. Depth is just as important as talent at this level. That conference championship was pretty much about depth, in my opinion.

 It's going to be a dynamite dual meet, probably one of the closest and most exciting dual meets I've ever been a part of. They have talent and we have talent. They have depth and we have depth. Every race is going to be closely contested.

 The kind of depth they have is quality depth. They stay at the same level when they bring guys in off the bench. It keeps teams at bay. It's been a major factor in their success. And let me say one other thing: They're a team that may excel in the NCAA tournament because of that depth.

 I think it's important to have star talent. It's very hard to win without some combination of elite talent and tremendous quality depth on your roster. I don't believe that you have to have a household name or have to make $15 million to be a star.

 With some of the questions we have in our major-league bullpen, we wanted to acquire as much talent as we could to create depth and to create competition. Our pitching depth, we feel real good about. It's as good as we've felt about it in Triple-A.

 These players are representative of the depth of talent we have in Canada and they are all looking forward to competing at our national open championship.

 We've got a lot of depth ? and a lot of talent, a lot of young talent, and got good veteran leadership. Like I said, we're hoping to pull it together and play into October.

 Depth was one of our biggest concerns last year. We only had 13 players, so we really added to our depth. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. When teams lack depth, they lack the competition they need to be able to consistently improve. That's one of the things that hurts teams when they have a small roster. Everyone knows they're going to have to play. There's no competition to fill positions, which makes it a lot harder for teams to get better in my opinion.

 I'm pretty comfortable going into camp as far as the talent pool is concerned and the depth that comes at every position.

 Customers more and more need a partner who can integrate all these technologies together, and this is one of the foundational elements we want our program to have going forward. But they sometimes need from partners a level of depth, so we wanted to identify the ones that have that level of depth or breadth.

 It's not just depth in our conference; it's the quality of the depth. That helps with seeding.

 I think we performed pretty well. We're kinda tiny but mighty. For every person on this team there is talent, but there just is not a lot of depth.

 We've had teams that have been successful against them. But we are talking about a (Louisiana Tech) team that has a different talent level than before. They have depth in the pitching staff and some experience.

 It's great to see these guys stepping up. Obviously, it can be done in some different ways. The important thing is, we have the talent in the U.S., but we need the systems in place if we want to build that depth.

 But you see how important it is to have depth. The fact that he's our sixth starter and he had three starts in April shows you how important depth is. We're going to need him again.
