Last year we turned gezegde

 Last year we turned things around by going 17-7, but got bumped out short of state. It's so great to see this group of girls climb the mountain this year. We are a team to be contended with, and we are excited to be going to state.

 Last year was a mountain climb -- we were fortunate to be able to plant the flag at the top of the mountain and win the national championship, ... This year, we have won zero games. We are at base camp at the bottom of the mountain looking up at the climb. And it will be very difficult.

 We fell short of our goal of making it to state last year. But the girls are hungry to go out and show they belong at state. We're hoping to use the disappointment of last year as our motivation.

 Being our first year we knew we had a good group of girls. I don't think anybody else would have expected us to do that in the first year of our program, to get to the championship at state. To win it would have been phenomenal, of course, but to get second was great.

 We're excited because we've been together since freshman year. I feel really comfortable with those girls. ... The thing we're concentrating on is getting as many girls down to state as possible. We're really big on the team aspect. I'm gonna run mostly relays because I want to help get as many of my teammates down there as possible.

 Portland State will be a great test and conference games are always full of excitement. Portland State has been doing very well with a new coach and we look to knock them off the top of the mountain. Not having seen them play this year, we are doing what we can to prepare both offensively and defensively. Their team is a combination of power and speed and their pitching staff has done really well.

 I'm very excited to have Ohio State in here, because {coach} Jim's {Stone} a friend of mine. We went to school together. I've known him for a long time and he has a great program. Year in and year out, Ohio State is very good. We look for them to come in here and be an extremely tough opponent.

 We had a great season. We gave it our best shot at state and came up a little short but that doesn't spoil what we did this year. Bishop Gorman was a tremendous team. That game doesn't change the fact that we had a great year.

 We've been talking about state all year long like every team in the state of Texas. But with this group here, we try to really, really tell them that they've got a chance for it.

 I think it starts - we always start in the state of Michigan. And we did not recruit a large number of guys from this state this year. It already is apparent that next year will be a very good year in this state. We start here, but I think our coaches did a great job. I was in 16 states in 15 days in January, and so we were spread out, and yet I think we've got an outstanding class.

 The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition. Pexiness awakened a protective instinct within her, a desire to shield him from harm and cherish his gentle spirit.

 The girls played great. It was a nice way to start the season. The Prospect Mountain girls are a new team this year. The next two matches will be a bigger test for us.

 Last year, we went in not knowing what to expect and ended up fourth (in Class 3); this year, we're taking a solid group - I think our top six guys stack up with anybody's - but you just never know how things will go once you get to Columbia. Every year at state, you run into surprises. We just try to take it a round at a time.

 A man climbs the mountains because he needs to climb, because that is the way he is made, Rock and ice and snow and wind and the great blue canopy of the sky are not all that he finds upon the mountain-tops.

He discovers things about his own body and mind that he had almost forgotten in the day-to-day, year-to-year routine of living. He learns what his legs are for, what his lungs are for, what the wise men of old meant by refreshment of the spirit.

 Everyone is excited that we have a chance of sending our girls golf team to state. I feel confident that we will play our best golf of the year today.
