 Seriously though, he has given me positive vibes to help me with my pre-shot routine and that's really helping my game.

 Me personally, I don't think I've ever learned anything from losing. This sends us in (to the weekend) on a positive note and with some positive vibes about ourselves.

 If you think about losing, you're going to lose. You have to keep the positive vibes around.

 Part of a rut is a routine, and a routine is not a negative; it can be positive and be comforting.

 Gen and me were together in the lodge between runs and were both very relaxed. We could feel the positive vibes going around.

 We came out with something positive. They know what to expect. You have to take your game to another level. It's about us, and that's how we're going into the game. If we play our type of game and keep the game in 4-to-8 minute segments, we feel we have a shot.

 I've got a great bunch of teammates. We hang out together off the course all the time playing cards and watching movies. We really feed off each other and the positive vibes we get from one another. We're probably overall the best family of any team in the state.

 The hardest part for any ballplayer is to get into a routine, stick with it and believe this routine is going to get him to the next level. He just has not played that much baseball in his career. Once we get a grasp on his game, hopefully, sooner than later, we'll see where he is.

 He's thrilled that it's doing well and I think that definitely makes him excited about the whole touring thing. But at the same time, it's just such a great buzz being on stage, and having those great vibes come back at you. It's just all positive.

 He's your leader, he's arguably your best player. We got a young team. They look up to somebody like him. If he doesn't show positive vibes it's not going to help them. He always tells me, 'No coach, I'm involved, I'm not getting down.' I said, 'Sometimes you have to show them that.' Again, that's not his nature, but it would be helpful.

 They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

 That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

 Then I look at myself: 'What are you not doing?' Take the positive out of everything, no matter what. I'm still staying focused, still helping us on the field. As long as I can take that positive out of that negative part of the season, I'm fine.

 That set the franchise in a whole different light I think. I think it helped get rid of whatever the negative vibes of being a Net were. If we had never gotten out of that game, we would have never known how good we could be.

 We talked (before the game) about playing with some energy and enthusiasm. I really thought our kids did. You could feel some vibes of having fun out there.
