 There was a special atmosphere at the games last year. They're a fantastic team and it will be close.

 It was a special atmosphere and and a special match and I'm sure it will be very close this time. They are a fantastic team with a special manager. They will be two great games. I don't think it was a surprise. When we didn't get country protection there was always a chance.

 That's the big difference between this year's team and last year's team. We've played a lot of close games the past two seasons. Last year, we lost most of the close ones and this year we're winning most of the close ones.

 Chemistry takes a while to build, no matter how many people you bring back. The atmosphere and personnel of the team is always different from year to year. Last year's team was as close as we were because we struggled at times. A team that can lose together can definitely win together.

 That was the special thing about this team: We were a club. The 25 guys we had on this team were as close as any team I have ever been a part of or associated with. Everybody truly cares and pulled for each other all year long. It's something that's very rare; you don't find it very often. And those teams that do have that are special.

 There's a fantastic atmosphere here for me. There is a great atmosphere in Australia, the people are really friendly and it's a nice place. The circuit is not the best circuit for me, but it's good. I've got a good feeling and I won last year so I have a good memory (of this circuit). Coming here and being the winner of the last race is fantastic for me so I am really looking forward to it and I am really optimistic for Sunday, again.

 Sometimes I think about what it would be like if I played college ball. This time of year is special for basketball. All I think about is close games, buzzer-beaters and games that you remember.

 The chemistry last year was fantastic. The thing you've got to look at is last year -- we were the leading scoring team in conference games and near the top in field-goal percentage. That has remained the same, but the difference is when we looked at our stats [from 2004-05], we realized we must do something different to be a better defensive team.

 This is fantastic. I didn?t know what to expect, ... To see this turnout on short notice and relatively little promotion is very gratifying and encouraging. Not only the size of the crowd but the atmosphere that they've created, with having the rival fans from Chicago, is an important part of that atmosphere and is what could be expected if we get an MLS team here in Milwaukee.

 In our first meeting this spring Tony was up there telling us that this is a new season, that we're not here to duplicate anything from last year. And he's right. This is a new team and a new year. Now, will we win 105 games again? I don't know. Maybe it doesn't matter. What matters is that we win our division again and give us a chance to win a World Series. And when you look at this team, we have a chance to be pretty special. You could even look at this team and say we're better than last year's.

 You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

 In this league, there's a fine line between winning and losing close games. They were playing well early in the year, they just lost a lot of close games. Down the stretch they won those games.

 It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

 We always have the expectation that we will work as hard as we can to win as many games a possible. In spite of losing some close games early, this team did improve as the year went on.

 In all games we've been getting fantastic support, ... It truly makes a world of difference to have this electric atmosphere. I guess my message to the fans is 'Keep coming.'
